I am 75 years old I fell and hit my forehead and developed bleeding in my brain which caused a stroke on April 6th. 2007. The hospital found my blood pressure to be too high and put me on some strong blood pressure medication (Clonidine) which did bring the blood pressure down but caused mental confusion and joint paint as unacceptable side effects. I had no appreciable paralysis from the stroke except in my left hand but rehab was very successful.

Soon after getting released from the hospital I found information on HiQi on the internet and began taking about 12 tablets a day. They were well tolerated and helped control my blood pressure to the point where I was able to reduce the amount of Clonidine I needed. After a few weeks I was able to quit the Clonidine and was using 50mg of Metoprolol in the morning and 50mg in the evening; also 5mg of Amlodipine besylate in the morning and 5mg in the evening. I was taking two capsules of HiQi in the morning and two in the evening as well as two at noon and often two in the middle of the night. I have essentially no remaining paralysis in my left hand.

My blood pressure now stays about 130/70 most of the time. I am not retired at 75 years of age and my health is generally good. I intend to continue taking inexpensive HiQi and plan to slowly get off of the mild prescription drugs I am still taking. I need the benefits of increased elasticity in my blood circulatory system I seem to enjoy from the HiQi.

I am 86 years old. A year ago I was battling with an extremely high blood pressure. Sometimes exceeding 209/115, but regularly in the range of 180/105 to 190/108. I have been suffering from Monoclonal Gammopathy for over 20 years. I have this well under control. However, I am supersensitive to the worst possible side effects of all medications.

My cardiologist tried the mildest forms of prescriptions against high blood pressure. The blood pressure came down somewhat, but the side effects of all these different medications made me feel absolutely miserable. For over twenty years I have been tending to over 200 SYS blood pressure, more of the time with prescriptions. I have been taking the Healthy Blood Pressure Support for 5-6 months now. I have checked my Blood Pressure before and after the supplement. Sometimes it lowers my pressure 10-15 points, an hour after taking it. I still take 40 mg Accupril and 40 mg Furosemide daily. But, those alone would not keep my pressure in the normal zone. I recently was sent to the Emergency room by my Family Dr. and my Cardiologist because my BP was very high. 212/108. They added to the 2 prescriptions I had been taking for a long time with a Beta blocker. After 5 1/2 weeks of that my face was swollen, every joint hurt, I was depressed and short of breath. Finally, I just said to myself "I am not doing this any more."

I had already started to look for alternative ways to manage the BP problem and had been taking BP Management and Peak ATP from Life Extension off and on for a month. I went on line looking for more to do after the episode with the Beta Blocker. I happened across your website and ordered Holistrol.

I was consistantly waking up with very high numbers as above. It would go down a bit because I continued taking my Lisinopril and Diuretic and it would come down a little during the day. I was also meditating Jose Sylvia style "My blood pressure is now 120/80" and smiling when I did that. It would tend to average 198/105 first thing in the morning. Then it would get down to 158/95 during the day. During the Meditation period and the Life Extension product it would drop at times to 140/88 +/-.

So when Holistrol arrived I decided to start it the next morning. I got up and took my first reading of the day - 190/110. I took two Holistrol pills and took my BP every 10 minutes. In about 30 minutes it was 121/81. Now after 3 weeks it is consistently lower and my early morning read is in excellent range also.

I have been recording my BP every day throughout the day since I started about Sept 1. Today is Sept 22 and my first reading this morning at 8 was 116/78.

I am still taking Lisinopril and will take that out of my plan soon, a little at a time. I will let you know how that works out. Thanks, All the best!

I have been taking Holistrol for 8 weeks now. For the first six weeks, my blood pressure lowered gradually, but was still around 150/84. I decided to increase my dosage to 3 capsules 3 times per day (I was taking 2 capsules twice daily), and my blood pressure has continued to drop. This evening it was 138 over 76 - hoo ray !!! My husband has been taking Holistrol for about 5 weeks - and no longer takes his prescription medication. This is an unsolicited rave review for your product. I have had blood pressure over 140/90 since the mid 1970's.In the past few months it started to soar to the 155/100+ range. In reaction, my physician has been prescribing more and more drugs to control it. About a month ago, I collapsed in the gym while working out from the effects of one of the drugs. I decided that conventional medicine was just trying to mask the causes of my problem. They seemed to be indifferent to new ideas and didn't mind experimenting on me with ever greater (FDA approved) cocktails of dangerous substances. My blood pressure had been around 140/90 for a year. My doctor had been telling me to take measures to lower my blood pressure. I tried to take less salt and making other life style changes, but it seemed not to do much to improve my blood pressure. I had been trying to avoid taking high blood pressure medicine. For as long as I remember I have suffered from Lazy Bowel Syndrome which meant that I was always constipated. Even though I ate foods high in fibre, drank litres of water - it just wasn't enough for regular bowel movements.

My name is Sheila Novack. I am 49 years old from Detroit, Michigan. I have had a hectic lifestyle that affected my eating habits. I never had enough fiber or those good high fiber foods such as bran. I first started having problems when I started in a high-stress position at my company. There were always intense, critical decisions to be made and urgent deadlines. I always thought I thrived under pressure, but I began to have health problems that the stress seemed to trigger. My guts seemed to always be messed up. Increasingly, whenever I ate even a small meal, I would bloat up and get this burning pain in my bowels. I chose foods carefully, thinking certain foods might be the problem.

Constipation became a continuous and debilitating condition. I could go five days or more without a bowel movement, bloating and discomfort increasing all the while. In an effort to find relief, I began to eat compulsively, as if somehow that the next little snack would produce intestinal activity and provide relief. It never did.
